Job description
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, following all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness, ensuring that medications are prescribed correctly and safely.
- Provide drug information to healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other staff members.
- Counsel patients on the proper use of medications, including dosage, administration, side effects, and interactions.
- Monitor patient medication therapy for efficacy, safety, and adherence to treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and improve patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication profiles and clinical notes
